Why? How come? What if?
Kids are naturally inquisitive, and these questions start a natural process of scientific inquiry for children. At the EV, we spark their scientific curiosity through nature. While many elementary school teachers are generalists, our volunteer docents give students an immersive hands-on experience in science, because that’s how kids learn best. The world is our textbook, and our local nature preserves are our best outdoor classrooms.
