The “Let’s Go!” Field Trip Fund provides grant subsidies to support bus transportation for youth in under-resourced communities.
The “Let’s Go!” Field Trip Fund offers transportation subsidies to high need, low-income schools and youth-serving organizations that support students in those schools. Schools and Organizations within the 9 Bay Area Counties are eligible to apply.
The “Let’s Go!” Field Fund, formally known as the Transportation Fund (TF), launched in 2011 through a generous grant from the Environmental Education Funders Consortium.
Since its inception, the fund has provided field trips to over 50,000 low-income students in the San Francisco Bay Area! The “Let’s Go!” Field Trip Fund continues through local donations from active community funders. Most recently, the Transportation Fund was selected as a recipient of the Game Changer Grant by the 50 Fund, a philanthropic initiative of Super Bowl 50.
Please review the “Let’s Go!” Field Trip Funds FAQ’s page for important information about who is eligible for support. Then use one of the following links to submit your application:
- If your field trip will take place between August-February, please use the Fall/Winter Application (NOW CLOSED. We are no longer accepting applications for February field trips).
- If your field trip will take place between March-June (school year only), please use the Spring Application (NOW OPEN!)
- Grants for summer field trips are not currently available. Please check back in May to see if that’s changed.
Each class or group of students is eligible for one grant award per school year, and funds are limited.
