Sprout Up Leadership Retreat 2026

What happens when 30+ young environmental leaders from 12 university chapters come together? They learn from experts. They learn from one another. They build community. And they prepare to lead.

This August, Sprout Up college student leaders from across the country gathered for our Annual Leadership Retreat, building the skills, relationships, and shared purpose that will carry them back to their campuses and classrooms.

They joined EV’s Annual Meeting, where they connected with the community volunteers who power our Nature Scientists and EcoCenter programs.

It was a powerful reminder that whether our volunteers are college students teaching in classrooms across the country, community volunteers bringing science to local schools, or welcoming families to the EcoCenter, we are one EV community united by a shared purpose: connecting more children with the wonder of the natural world!

Student leaders now return to their campuses ready to lead chapters, mobilize hundreds of college volunteers, and bring hands-on environmental science to thousands of children.

Growing leaders. Inspiring children. This is Sprout Up 🌱
