Environmental Volunteers’ Family Nature Walks program is designed to help children and their families get to know two of our most popular local open space areas, the Palo Alto Baylands and Foothills Nature Preserve in Palo Alto. Small groups will be guided by a knowledgeable environmental educator during a 90-minute exploration of these beautiful areas. These groups will be introduced to fun nature-based activities, and a chance to learn more about the plants and animals all around us. Walks are free but space is limited; registration is required to guarantee a spot.
Family Nature Walks are intended for small groups, ages 6 and up. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please click on the date at right (or go to our Events Calendar) for more information.
If you’re interested in booking a Nature Walk for a group of 6 or more participants, please see our Group Programs page and schedule a private walk.
