Family Nature Walks
Environmental Volunteers’ Family Nature Walks program is designed to help children and their families get to know two of our most popular local open space areas, the Palo Alto Baylands and Foothills Nature Preserve in Palo Alto. Small family groups will be guided by a knowledgeable environmental educator during a 90-minute exploration of these beautiful areas. These small groups will be introduced to fun nature-based activities, and a chance to learn more about the plants and animals all around us. Walks are free but space is limited; registration is required to guarantee a spot.
Family Nature Walks are intended for children ages 6-11 and their families.
Baylands Nature Walks run on Saturdays from 10:30am-12:00pm. Foothills Nature Preserve Nature Walks run on Saturdays from 11:00am-12:30pm.
