Susan attended San Jose State University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Restoration and Resource Management with a minor in Sustainable Water Resources. She has been with the Environmental Volunteers since September 2017. Susan initially began as a Teaching and EcoCenter Intern, in which she interacted with both homeschooled and public school students. During her internship, she had the opportunity to gain experience in development and nonprofit management. Now she spends her time managing the donor database and the organization’s day-to-day operations. She also facilitates ecological restoration days with small organizations and large corporate groups. Susan comes from a large family of 11 and loves spending time with them. When she is not around her siblings and parents, she enjoys hiking and exploring new places with her husband. She also loves taking pictures, cleaning, playing with her dogs, trying new food, staying in bed for hours, and organizing detailed itineraries for trips.
